Title: 3/7/15 CCK Fishing Kayak Safety & Rescue - HMB
Post by: Rider on January 21, 2015, 06:44:42 PM
I've been talking with Sean Morely and they have set up another Fisjing Kayak safety & rescue clinic at HMB on 3/7/15.

If your thinking about going out into the ocean this would be a great clinic to take to keep you and others your out with safe.

This is a great opportunity to be with and learn from one of the best paddlers on the planet. We had a great time at TC last year and this venue is an awesome centrally located place for the sac area. I fully encourage all to attend this. Thanks James for putting this together!!!!

I don't see the class for Natomas on the CCK calendar for 3/7 and have already signed up for the one at HMB On that date.  Would the one at Natomas be a better choice?

Having just taken the 2/21 class in HMB, I highly recommend it over a class at Lake Natomas.  While the instruction will still be top notch, I think you'd have the added benefit of an intro to surf launch/landings and other salt considerations such as dressing for immersion and redundant navigation aids.  You'll end the day with the confidence to fish the salt... which easily translates to freshwater fishing.
