« on: June 27, 2020, 03:21:15 PM »
Many thanks to my new friend Antonio (Cabeza de Martillo) for gifting his Perception Jazz for my daughter!

Still looking for a SOT Yak for my wife or even a tandem to get the whole fam out on the water. Lots of great fishing gear to trade, see posts above.

Thanks NCKA!

Matt

Looking for one of those 6’ kids kayaks plus a tandem yak, or a 10’ “recreational” yak. Trying to get my family on the water!

Have lots of fishing gear to trade, including a trevalia ml, a couple of ugly stick elites, a Shimano Clarus MH, A fathom 25nld single speed, a couple of narrow jig master hs with tiburon frames, an SKB 7100 tackle box, lots of 3 & 4 oz shad heads, 8 & 16 oz bullet heads, etc....
I’ll post pictures of some of the gear tomorrow.
Tell me what you’ve got, let’ make a trade!

I’m in N Napa county but will travel....

Thanks!

Matt

2 Jigmaster 506 with Tiburon P21 frames. These are the narrow, high speed (5:1) version of the classic 500. Black one has fresh 25# pline xxx. Sliver one is 1/2 full of 20#. Both in great shape. $60 ea or make an offer on both. Also have a 505 (reg width 5:1) around here somewhere that I’ll throw in if you buy both.

Kwik Tek folding anchor system, new in package. $15

2 Tady 4/0 yo-yo jigs. 6oz. Greenback mirror. $8 each

Pick up in Napa county or ship on your dime

Thanks!!

General Talk / Re: Rtic cooler help
« on: November 19, 2017, 11:06:34 PM »
I've been using an Rtic 45 for a year or two and it is great. Keeps ice for days and has a super high quality build. VERY comparable to YETI for much less $$$.
Also got the 20 size of their soft cooler a few months ago and the quality seems to be on par with my 45.

General Talk / Current Monterey Bay surf/pier advice?
« on: October 18, 2017, 08:46:43 PM »
School is still canceled in Napa County due to the air quality / wildfires, so I am taking my girls to the MB aquarium tomorrow. Of course I threw a few rods in the car!
Any of you Monterey area folks have advice for current surf or pier action? Just would like to get a line wet and maybe find an opportunity for my 5yo and her spin caster.
Thanks all!
