Easily retrofit the Raptor's center hatch with this cool container..

I've been waiting for months to finally be able to finally introduce this item.    It's a roto-molded flexible container    26" long,  9" wide  that can be squeezed into place.
Retail cost is 36 bucks...  I find it eliminates the need for a milkcrate and also puts everything you need easily within reach.
Divers, store your  weight belts here to keep a low center of gravity.
Fishermen,,,  tackle containers,  camera's,  water bottles,, etc.

   Contact,   www.santacruzkayaks.com

    Thanks,
    Jim

Like I told you before Jim, that's just a real smart kayak design.
LOVE the insert.
Congratulations once again for thinking outside the box!

Very nice Jim.  I think that thing would be marketable for all kinds of yaks.  If you decide to make one for a Hobie Revo, I'll volunteer to be the tester!

I bought my raptor with one of these new and Brett installed it for me. I ran without a milk crate for the first time since I started kayak fishing yesterday, It was awesome. I regularly stow 1 small and 1 medium Plano tackle boxes, a Nalgene bottle, my waterproof box with my phone and e-cig in it, my fish grips and my sunscreen. I'm still getting organized, but I think I could easily start going without  the crate now. On top of all that, I can pull it out when/if I need to get into the hull for things like rigging.

This is definitely an awesome add on, I'm glad Brett had it in stock when I got my boat.
