After him harping on safety so much, perhaps you guys shouldn't have added the two pics of him not wearing his PFD on the water?

Alert, alert.  PFD police are in the house.   :sad5:

I'm interested in seeing some of those custom bait tanks.  Jason Valle recently sold his old kayak with a custom bait tank that cost $600 to make...

I'm far from the the pfd police. It was just the very first thing I noticed after him repeatedly saying he always wears his pfd. Well, ummm, here's 2 out of three OTW shots of you right here not wearing your pfd.

My comment was more for whoever added the photos. Perhaps don't include the photos of him not wearing it in your article?

Vittles vault + air pump or if you're fancy submersible bilge pump, some fittings and tubing. Slap on a side pocket and some pvc rod holders and it'll replace the milk crate. Just one of the things they do down here in SD.

I don't think that's him in the 1st, 3rd, 4th photos. Good info though.

here's an example of the custom live wells the yak fishers in HI use.  It seems like some people there try to hide their livewells and most stay away from the Vittle type livewells.

Any idea why they tend to stay away from the vittles?

Maybe they prefer a lower profile bait well?

Low profile = less wind resistance would be my guess.
