64 pounds of pink

Just saw this up on the Facebook. IÂ’m guessing it was from the bubble , rouge or smith river. Even if it is within the range of 64 lbs +- 10lbs or so itÂ’s a big gun for sure. Just from the bad pic with modified sniffer pose I’d guess 45lb but I’m shooting from the hips

Smith.  That guy has posted some big fish before.

That's one big mud salmon!!!!!!

I would eat it since it came from the mouth of the Smith, one of only 2 rivers in California without a dam.

I’ve seen a 52lb salmon caught in the American. And it looked about 20lbs bigger than that fish. Taking into account how hes holding it, I would guess that’s a solid 35lbs fish.  I caught a 31lbs hen and it was just a bit smaller than that one.
