Hi all,

I've been filming for a little while now. I wanted to share a very short video I made. If you are interested in photography or filming, the drone has been a very useful tool for me and although risky launching and landing, you can get some amazing shots.

I'm still a beginner and haven't explored many of the drone features but welcome any questions I can help answer. The particular drone I use is the DJI Mavic Pro. They are getting cheaper and can be found for ~500. Which is great!

Thanks for watching.

Cool video! What drone are you using? And what camera? I keep threatening to get one and seeing some good video always makes me want to get one.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

Much appreciated! This was at lake Berryessa.

Cool video! What drone are you using? And what camera? I keep threatening to get one and seeing some good video always makes me want to get one.

Thanks! All the moving aerial shots were filmed with the DJI Mavic Pro drone. (following my car or kayak) The cameras mounted on my kayak and the point of view are all GoPro. ( 3 of them total)

If you're doing cool stuff like kayak fishing might as well! I never regret a day of filming. It's always nice to look back and you will definitely get some really cool moments.

great job on the edit. Is that the Mavic Pro 1 or 2? I'm tempted to get the Mavic Pro 2 since I have the Mavic Pro 1. I haven't been flying lately so I can't justify the upgrade  :smt010

The Mavic Pro 2 has a lot of upgrade! dang it...hmm maybe the next revision I will upgrade lol

here are some of my video

Big Sur Trip

keep the video coming, might motivate me to do some more editing

Crazy,

Thank you for sharing. Beautiful footage. Loved the shots of the Albion bridge and river. The footage of launch and landing at Big Sur is awesome. I like the photo of the sun in the clouds. And you launched that thing from your hand with no hesitation on the water like a pro. Something I don't think I'll ever get used to!

I have the Mavic 1. The 2 is definitely nice but I can't justify the upgrade just yet, so like you I will probably wait until the next revision or 2.

:)
