great job Andy.
I recently did one my self, but left the fire box off.  (almost identical to yours.)
Tighten some and replaced bolts, a little welding , rattle cans of high heat paint.  good to go...

Good restoration! A modification you can do is to relocate the exhaust stack to the side of the cook chamber.  Exit the middle of the cook chamber. 3 inch diameter pipe.

Some mods to improve the smoker:

1) Cast some refractory in the bottom of the firebox.
2) Improve the airflow and draw for better wood burning performance. Relocate and enlarge the exhaust stack. 3in diameter pipe. Relocate the stack to the side of the cook chamber, in the middle.
