Anyone have a good way of fixing the black rubber gasket on a ScupperPro hatch?  It's ripping longitudinally and, of course, no longer sealing very well.   I've tried gluing it with 5200 (may have that number wrong...) marine sealant, but she's a no goot.

Ideas?

Thanks,
John

Somewhere online, I saw an easy and cheap replacement for Supper Pro and Prowler hatch gaskets .  Someone used skinny foam rubber pipe insulation.  Since it clipped on to line the rim, very little adhesive was used to keep it in place.
