As the title states, I am new to the boards and I am in need of a kayak.  I have been using a Costco tandem to fish out of so far.  I would really love a single seat sit on top kayak that is geared toward fishing.  I don't have too much of a budget, but would be willing to enter into a payment contract, or trade working hours.  I have worked in many different trades including auto mechanical, electrical, carpentry and metal work.  I am also not afraid of a day or two of hard work/manual labor.

Please let me know if any of you fine folks have a spare or unused kayak that you might be willing to part with.  I have found all of the NCKA members that I have encountered to be incredibly welcoming and generous, so I thought I might try a post to see what is out there.

Cheers,
Patrick

That  predator MX for sale is an excellent excellent kayak.  Super Stable.  Super roomy.  Super comfortable.  And, it even paddles well for a fat 11-foot boat.  I have three MX's I use as client boats.  For this purpose they are the best ever!

Good luck

Also a very very good boat.  Even more robust in terms of Ocean capability.  And faster than the MX.  Plus it's got halibut Juju.

MAS if you buy this one in Santa Cruz, you have to fish  with me and we'll make sure that fish does come with it!
