Lisa and I headed to Tomales Bay yesterday in hopes of finding calm water, no luck there, nice lunch and headed east to China Camp.  Windy conditions and only in the water for a couple of hours.  Hooked only one striper on the troll, saw one guy fight something of size from McNears beach only to have it snap off on the rocks (after a 10 minute fight).
Monday windy again, tried Berryessa.  The cold snap seems to have set things on their head for a day or two.  Caught 2 LMB and 2 SMB using a very small jig head and rootbeer grub.  Brought a bottle of yagie, so that helped!
Quote of the day from a bank fisherman "where did you get that there  fancy paddle boat?"!

Bunch of comedians up at the lake. I was pulling my yak on Wheelez back to my vehicle on the North end and these guys in a monster 4x4 rolled down the window and said, "What's the matter? Lose yer truck?"

My favorite is when they say "I like your boat" and I respond, this isn't my boat, this is my kayak, my boat is in it's slip in Sausalito where it belongs!

If there is one lake that is sensitive to barometric pressures,

It's Berryesa....   I've seen that lake be a 50 fish day, and Nada the next,

 Very Finicky,,,
