Might be worth calling West Marine in Oakland. They have some salmon fishing gear.

I personally like the 7-oz Double Deep Six (the heavier version of the smaller size). But like others said, with the fish biting shallow just about any diver should do the trick.

I saw some at the tackle shop at HMB  last Saturday, they were selling them for $19.95 each.

That's a ripoff, but still a whole lot cheaper than dropping lead!

Of course West Marine near me doesnt have any. But West Marine in Alameda does. Just my luck. That is just way too far.

Fisherman's Warehouse or Bass Pro Shop in San Jose ... FW closed early but has better choices, but BPS stays open later than FW.

FW closes at 8pm on Thursdays. 

I'm planning to go out as well - I've got a spare Pink Lady diver that you can borrow. It's caught salmon in the past. Probably be there by 5:30 at the old pier.

Yup, 4inch 3.5oz pink. 

Looked online, West Marine's website. Said that they had a couple in stock. The young lady went to check, nothin'.  Manager got on the phone and said "unfortunately the inventory online doesn't account for theft"  Lol! Damn dishonest fisherman!!
