Here is a link with info on the new Eddyline C-135 Stratofisher. All the comforts of a standup stable kayak with less weight. I want one.

Looks like a great boat. Can't wait to check it out. 69 lbs for a yak that size is awesome. Now when will they design a tandem SOT. I would jump on that in a minute. Getting a little tired of loading and unloading my 100+ lb tank.
-
Wow!!! The green is a killer color!!!
If it's ocean worthy, everyone will all over it!!!
-
Anyone know the length and width?
-
Lentght 13'5, Beam 34", Weight 69lbs, and capacity 450 lbs
-
thanks Vwool--fist thing I look for--great looking kayak but maybe not gonna work for me.. :smt009

Anyone know if they did anything to accommodate a transducer on the C135?
I gotta get over to HW and get a demo.

My understanding is they did. I am sure Dan will be posting more info since he has the first one in our area.

Ok, Eddyline, you got that one out of the way; now get to work on a 16' Caribbean!

69lbs for a 13.5ft yak.
:smt009
but I guess the 450# weight rating needs the weight with the extra width.
I do like the finish of the eddyline kayaks, always have.

Give the current C14 two more feet forward of the cockpit and it's pretty much my dream boat.

I agree with Dustin 16' would be perfect.
On the C14 a cut out for 'ducer would be nice too, shoot thru hull is fine for ocean but it's noticeable in freshwater when I'm targetting stripers in mostly less than 20'. I didn't get along with hanging it over the side, more shit to catch fly line on.
Tank well needs to be big enough for a black pack and/or make it easier to strap down the typical plano box. I've been to lazy to add some pad eyes. I just use dry bags on ocean right now because I don't like the way the plano box sits in the tank well. My 19qt. Engel cooler/dry box is perfect when on still water.
While the C14 "rod pod" isn't as nice as my Trident's, you can get rods in the hull. It does usually require removing the reel from the rod though. Several surf landings doing it and it's OK if less than ideal with 2 gear rods and a fly rod.
Some people have cut the area for more access to hull but I'm hesitant to do that.
I'm looking at the C135 as freshwater/delta standup boat, should be able to double haul a clouser another 20'+ standing up. Is there a lean bar option? I'm bringing my SUP paddle when I go test one. Either the C135 or dedicated SUP fishing craft (BOTE? Diablo?) is my next boat.
The past weekend has me jacked for the fall striper run, maybe more kayak trips for them this year...need a new target specific boat, LOL

Do you guys have the mod pod on your 14's? I ended up taking mine off because it takes up so much room but the center collects a little bit of water. I am working on cutting my mod pod down to make it only about 3 or 4 inches tall and flat on top. I looked but couldn't find an aftermarket lid anywhere.
I did modify a costco stadium seat and it fits the Caribbean 14 really nice. Spent all day on it Saturday and felt great. If anyone is interested I can take some pics.

Great ideas everyone, I have shared them with eddyline. They want to build a kayak based on what anglers want. Lots of features have com from angler input. Eddyline is new to kayak fishing but has a long history of making quality kayaks.

The 2015 C-14 was redesigned in the tank well to fit a blackpak. Fits perfectly.
I will check in about the standup bar. I can't wait to try the C135, delta and lake fishing in pure comfort.

This kayak is a thermoform kayak, not fiberglass.

13'5" / 34" wide / 69lbs / 450lbs max
13' / 34" wide / 70lbs / 550lbs max
14'3" / 31" wide / 74lbs / 400lbs max
13' / 34" wide / 66lbs / 400lbs max
Which one is which? Match these specs to the following kayaks: Eddyline C135, OK Prowler Big Game, Jackson Cuda 14, Santa Cruz Raptor.

Which one is telling the truth should be the real question. I can't speak for santacruz and ocean kayak but I know the Cuda 14 is over its advertised weight. Having paddles all 4, I can say that although they are all great boats none are in the same league as the Eddyline.

Even infused carbon is hard to get down to 40lbs. (And still be durable) we sell Sterling Sea Kayaks and he uses some of the lightest most advanced materials in the world. He's bolisitic carbon
Layup is 32-38lbs and cost around $6500-$7000. Light and durable come at a serious price.
Eddyline is filling the niche of a high stability, stand up stable, lawn chair fishing kayak and I think they have done a great job. It's not only lighter than anything like it, it paddles at a whole different level. If your looking for ultra light and ultra sleek buy a Stealth. The C135 is for the decerning fisherman who wants all the features of a big guys boat but also wants something that paddles well and is easy to load.

That's a purdy boat ! :smt007 Eddyline has always pumped out great designs.

Myself and the headwaters crew just spent the weekend with the owners of Eddyline, and must say that Tom and Lisa are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They were completely, and honestly interested in our comments and suggestions regarding the design and function of the kayak. Pride in the fit function and finish of their product, partnered with genuine interest in the input, suggestions and critiques of owners is why this kayak is the easiest paddling, most stable, and most versatile kayak on the market. If you are considering buying a new boat, drop the hammer. You won't be disappointed.

One great boat
