Update

I want to provide and update on the ARW tournament and where the organizing committee is at now.
We can confirm that we will be holding a tournament this year. Although we are in the early planning stages; everything seems to be coming together nicely.

It's gonna be HuuGE!. The best you ever saw. seriously, it's gonna be great. We are gonna make America proud.
 :kick :kick :kick

SAVE THE DATE:
Where: Alameda RockWall
When: JUNE 17, 2017

We will post an official thread when we get more details hammered out.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love halibut. I love fishing for them in the bay, especially in the spring and summer. Hitting the right area and tides during the summer months will pay off big dividends for the dedicated and obsessive fisherman.

With that said let’s hold a TOURNEY!! :smt005

The million dollar question!

Who is interested in attending if we put on a ARW(Alameda Rock Wall) halibut tournament? Ariel, myself and a few others are planning to organize the event in the summer. (TBD depends on the interest of course)

Tentative date:
June 17 or 18 (Best halibut tides in June)

Rules TBD
BBQ for sure

Suggestions are welcome before we put the logistics in place and send out the rules, solicit donations,
Registration, waivers, etc…

I always missed this tournament after Eric stopped it. It was one of my favorite.  We hope to replicate his success, and keep it fun & competitive. Hopefully some of the OG's will come out.

@Herb, I know you will find a way. That's what winners do. :smt002
