Great day out there for sure! And good to see schooling blacks too. Watching the vid, I was reminded that that structure should have kelp growing off it- let's hope the conditions change. Thanks for the great edit job on the video, especially adding in the Tom Petty tribute!

Yeah I'm praying to the kelp gods! The abs need it!

Jim thanks for the video. I've never done that and have wondered about taking them from the occasional decent ling head. But now I know they are tiny in lings I'll wait for a good black or other Rockfish. Matt we gotta try that vermillion spot we talked about!
