Okay...I waited until I was finished (for now) upgrading my Sea Ghost 130 before posting my pics.  I've got my Garmin Striker 4 fish finder installed, the power console mounted, the hatch cover hinge kit installed, battery box installed in the forward hold, and even have my version of the milk crate rod holder.  All I need now is to get some lures wet.  Hope to see a lot of you at Stillwater Cove in March!!!

Thanks for the update, Sin Coast,  looks as though I'll be bummed for an extra month.  Is there any good kayak fishing locally between now and then???

Hi Snipeworm...the battery box idea for the fish finder battery I found on YouTube.  I don't know how to share the link here, but go to YouTube and type in "Sea Ghost 130 Mods" and you'll see a link to the Dinsmore Outdoors' "Fish Finder Install on Vibe Seaghost 130 Kayak" video.  The information for the battery box and fish finder (I preferred the Garmin over the Lowrance) install is on the video.  If you click on the "Show More" button underneath the video screen, he shows you where he purchased the items.  With the battery box, if you click on the link that takes you to the Amazon page with the blue box from the Dinsmore video page, make sure if you want to order it that you click on the size select button and order the large box.  The small one will not fit the 12V battery.  It is a really good setup for the electronics which doesn't take up any room in the front console, and is cable free if you're not using the fish finder.  Message me if you need any help.  Happy fishing!!!

Scrap those wheels and get Wheeleze.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

Only applies if you are heading to a soft Sandy beach, or you just have a bunch of money laying around.
I have a set, but haven't needed them in the last five years.

No problem, Snipeworm.  That whole battery box / accessory console / fish finder setup took about two hours to install.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Think you made the right choice with the Garmin Striker 4...you can't go wrong for the price.  The transducer mount will screw directly into the nutserts that Vibe put in the transducer well in the yak, so no extra holes needed, and the console mount will screw directly into holes in the console hatch cover.  I tie wrapped all but about 8 inches of the transducer cable and left it in the transducer well.  I brought up the small section of transducer cable through the transducer scupper to plug into the back of the console.  Very clean install.  Let me know if you hae any questions...
