Scopolamine patch for sure.  Just go to the doctor and have them write a prescription that you can refill multiple times.  Worth the money.

Yeah, they're probably just little guys.  I would suggest scaling down instead of up.  And for me, especially if I'm going to sneak away for only a few hours of fishing, ANY fish is worth catching!

If any of you northern folks ever make it down here to fish the LA or San Diego area, hit me up.  I'll try to meet up with you, or at least give you some suggestions and tips.

You too BG90.  Can't wait to make it back up north.  We definitely live in the most beautiful state!

Hey guys,

It was my first time fishing the P.O.S. and it was pretty slow all around.  I ended the day with two LMB and one small striper, all working the edges on a wildeye swim bait.  I will definitely be back to fish this area sometime in the near future.  Thanks to all the locals I met, both on this forum, at the launch, and on the water who took the time to school me a bit on fishing this water.

I'll be fishing the P.O.S. tomorrow and Sunday all day.  I'm on a red malibu Extreme.  I'll be on channel 68 on my marine radio if anyone wants to say hello.

Cosumnes Preserve looks pretty fishy.  Might have to split my time if I have enough.  Thanks for the recommendations.

General Fishing Tips / Sacramento Campground??
« on: February 18, 2015, 01:17:06 AM »
Hey folks,
SoCal guy heading up to Sacramento for a teacher's conference.  Decided to head up a few days early and fish the port of Sacramento.  Was wondering if there were any campgrounds that people could recommend in/near West Sacramento.  I did a google search and found a few options, but I thought the good people from up north might have a better suggestion.  Also, I will be fishing from 2/28-3/3.  I'll be on a red Malibu X-Treme and am on Ch. 68 if anyone wants to say what's up.  Thanks in advance!

Hey folks,
SoCal guy who was directed to this forum by someone on "bigwatersedge".  I like what I see so far.  A wealth of information.  I travel up to the Northern parts of this great state quite often, and I can't wait to post my first report!  I will be up in Sacramento for a teacher's conference in a few weeks and plan on hitting the port of sacramento on 2/28-3/3.  I'm in a red Malibu X-Treme.  If you see me out there, say what's up!
