Wow, that place looks sick.    What is required for entry into one of these tournaments?? Looks like a lot of fun, should have my yak all rigged up by then.

that may be the most exciting trip of the year. will there be salmon up there at that time? i am in.

Chris-this is generally the peak or just past the peak of salmon season too.

I haven't been up to the Mendo Coast in awhile... I remember driving down by Elk, looking out at those arch rocks, and thinking how cool it owuld be to get out there to fish...

Just a quick survey... how many of you are planning to bring you wife and kid(s) to this event?  I'm thinking this would be a great place to make a weekend of it.
