Welcome. I am a huge fan of Russian Gulch and Albion. Would love to go out with you before the season ends. No yo holds some of the easiest crab fishing too so there’s always something to catch in Mendocino. Hit me up anytime.

Safety First / Is the GG Bridge fishable by Kayak
« on: August 02, 2018, 08:24:20 AM »
I know a few people who claim to fish the Golden Gate Bridge by kayak, but everything I know about the GGB says its too risky as the currents and traffic are always screaming through there. With the sammys running through the bridge I can't help but consider it. Lets hear some feedback...

General Talk / Lake Shasta Trolling late October
« on: October 16, 2017, 01:56:16 AM »
I'm looking for some feed back about trolling for trout in the McCloud River Arm of Lake Shasta. I've caught good trout here in the early summer, but I have a chance to head up again before the rainy season starts. I'm mainly looking for feed back on how deep y'all think I should troll this time of year...

My team mate and I will be coming to do some fishing either way. We are very excited to participate in the tournament. However I’m wondering if we can miss the Pre event meeting at 4pm friday 7/25/17 due to work related obligations. Please let me know if this will fly. My registration is pending on this question. I have an email out to the company running the chin dig. Thank you!!!

General Talk / Week Days Off
« on: April 13, 2017, 12:00:09 PM »
Hey All

Look Im extremely into the vast fun to be had this year on the sonoma and mendo counties ground fishing season. I am in search of a fishing partner that has weekdays off as i do.

I don't have a ton of open water experience but have been out and hooked up a several times. So someone interested in sharing techniques with high safety standards would be ideal.

I am very comfortable in the water, I have a lot of cold water swimming experience and would be a great safety and fishing partner!

Let me know if any of you with week days off have room. Thanks for reading!

Hey fellow Kayakers!!! Spring lake is asking for kayakers to help clean up all the debris and trash in the lake from recent flooding. Meet at lakeside grill next to the swimming lagoon. Parking fee will be waived. Bags and grabbers will be provided. Lets help out our local park and one our long time bass spots. Thank you. You can call the park at707-565-3356 with any questions.
