Hah!,, with some help I finally figured out how to post..I'm new here just wanted to say hello. I live in Nevada but travel to California to fish in the ocean from time to time. I just bought a 2018 Hobie Outback and cant wait to get it rigged and fishing. Ill be fishing along the sierra front from Mono County to Washoe so if anyone needs info on fresh water in those area let me know.

See you out there!

Yes I will be fishing pyramid this winter, but I haven't yet this year. Its fishing good right now with 10 to 20 lb fish not uncommon coming off the ladders.

I caught my first fish on a fly rod there last year off of a ladder. I hear horror stories about boats on that lake but I'm thinking about putting my kayak on it.

Yeah the horror stories are many, but that's my plan also. I have a co-worker who fishes his Pro-Angler on the lake frequently with no trouble. I think its like the ocean "base all actions on current and expected water behavior".

Will do, wouldn't want to be on that lake alone. Also Topaz opens on New Years Day.
