Craftsmen's Corner / Rudder for Tamarack?
« on: August 20, 2022, 05:00:44 PM »
Hey guys! I've got a Tamarack Angler and I've already modded the crap out of it. It's slow and it doesn't track very well, but I like taking it out and it catches fish. Would it track better if I were to install a rudder? It seems I might be able to coax a bit more speed out of her if I don't have the bow swinging 20-30 degrees each way with every stroke. There really isn't much of a keel to keep it straight, so I'm wondering if this would help...

Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Mike

It looks like the weather is going to be pretty good on Monday. I was going to try to get out. Anyone interested/available to join?

Introductions / Hola from Santa Cruz!!
« on: March 18, 2022, 03:11:40 PM »
Hi everybody! I'm Mike from Santa Cruz. I have a pretty modified Lifetime Tamarack Angler that I like to take out of SC and Capitola. I'd love to meet people to get out there with so I'm not going solo all the time!
