Two words for the Meadows today: Beautiful and slow.
The weather was beautiful today. Water was like glass and there was no wind, even into the early afternoon. :smt001
The fishing was slooooow... Even my hot spots let me down. :smt009

Here's the basics;
Arrived at the ramp around 7:30am and greeted Dan from Concord. I've fished with Dan before at Rancho Seco. Very pleasant person to fish with. We were on the water around 8am. Fished all of Railroad slough and I caught nothing. :smt012

Dan caught a few little lmb early on. It took me a while to score two dinky lmb.
Also soaked an anchovy in Snodrass hoping to claim a striper, no love.

All in all, it was a great day on the water, we didn't get skunked and the company enjoyable.
What more could a person ask for? :smt002

Looks like it was a wonderful day out there.  I am waiting to hear how Travis and Tote did on the feather. I got stuck at home when the frontier wouldn't start this morning.  :smt013

Looks like it was a great day in the Delta.  It was a difficult decision to make for us to hit up the Salmon in lieu of LMB but it paid off.  we are going to fish for Salmon and we have plans to go after elusive Steelhead Trout in the coming weeks. We will post in the hookup section.
