Title: Timber Cove Crabbing?
Post by: LinesideBountyHunter on November 08, 2017, 07:52:02 PM
Are there any decent areas around timber cove to do a crab/ling combo? I want to get back out there soon for lings but a few crabs on side would be nice

I don’t know about the crabs, but hit me up when you want to do the ocean!

If you do a search, previous posts note that crabbing at TC requires one to be in deep waters, 120+ ft depth.  I wouldn't want to pull a loaded pot 120 ft, but I guess it has been done.  Some have also dropped pots at Doran, then fish TC.  Good luck.

Im glad you mentioned that. I was gonna bring my crab pot this Saturday up to TC. If anybody wants to join FeoPronk and me up at TV this Saturday..the more the better!
