Had a really good time at Tiki this year. No rain! Thanks Eric and FW for doing this. Rich and I had a contest for the biggest bird. I did not get a pic of one of mine on the trough, so I guess you won. Unless we can measure it against an item of known size. I ended up paddling almost 20 miles in 2 and a half days with a very heavy, but sleek T160i, loaded with fishing and hunting gear. Only caught a handful of small stripers and a few LMB all weekend. One apology goes to G-whiz. I'll stay outside of the Asian circle from now on.  :smt005

Awesome time, Rob, I think we both won on the duck/goose contest! All I can say about this weekend, was you just have to experience it for yourself! Paddling out in the fog, and watching the transition from fog to bright warm sunshine, made for some mental images that will be with me for a lifetime! Jeff and I saw this boater, on a bank, 8 feet above water line, dry docked on the grass! I hope Jeff took a pic! The two guys passed out during the night, supposedly on anchor, and as the high tide hit, a barge came by, and the wake pushed them up onto the bank! I did not have a camera or gopro with me, but it was funny.
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

What a great time!  I hate to admit that I considered not attending since I figured 100+ people would be a mess at such a small venue, but I'm glad I went.

Mega props to you, Yakhopper, for keeping things organised and fun.  I was really glad to see you get some time on the water for a change!

17 new yakkers, that is amazing!

Looking forward to next years events :smt007 Got out more this year than the last 10 years combined (just ask my wife) Had a great time and made new friends. Fun weekend! Thanks Eric and NCKA bro's (and sisters :smt044 )   3 small Large mouth bass for me. Sorry no pictures so it didn't happen, But one I caught was only 2" longer than the minnow it ate! (NCKA potluck style) Loved the great food everyone shared. Good times (AND NO SKUNK ON MY BACK)
Come on out! It's time to play. It's time for TROUT Bass and STRIPER. Let go of the hand brake!

YES,  wow what a great weekend. I saw, duck duck goose, quail, coot, deer an of course FISH. Congrats to the winners Kat, Ashley, and ? sorry didn't get your name... and Dr habe!( you dog!) it was so great to see the kind of turnout that we had Sunday,  Its obvious that the efforts that Erik and put forth for these events have paid off in a large increase of interest in Kayak fishing. I am always happy to talk to people about our club and get them interested. its was great to meet the new people and hang out with the veterans as always..Thanks for putting on a great show Erik, FW and YES I have the photos on my camera but there is no chip, so I need the cable to connect it. gimme a day or 2 for that its hilarious and worth the view.gotta get back to work. :-(  looking forward to next year and TiKi FOuR when I win it all!! lol iroelikethat

Im gonna miss you guys very much... Thanx to Eric for putting these on, what a pile of swag that was, and Jims yak and goodies, DAMN!
So Rich bought a brand spankin new Epiphone guitar for me AND Chadrock gave me an Epiphone he/s had since he was eight, awesome guitars, everyone autographed them, too cool for words folks...
Since Sledger has not had a guitar for 10 years I gave him my Yamaha, lots of mojo on that ax, and I think he puked on it last years so hes got a bit of mojo on it already...
Thanx for taking stuff off my hands, I had a ton of crap that I dont have to deal with anymore....
Leaving is starting to set in, getting a bit sad about the whole thing, does anyone want to come with???
NCKA has forever changed me in great ways, thanx and all my love to everyone of ya!

I say the same thing about every one of these events. Great fun, great food, and the greatest peeps. I caught four stripers to a whopping 17.5" and a lil' LMB. Had a great time.

Here's some pics from Saturday.
