Went out to Delta Montezuma Slough with fellow NCKA members for striper and sturgeon action. Weather was fantastic and the current was mild. No sturgeon was caught but few stripers were landed with swimbait and mudsuckers. Thanks again Kayakfish7 (Kyler, I hope I'm spelling it right) for setting this hookup.

Congrats! Thx for the video report bro.
Be thankful seals didn't take your catch hanging on a gameclip... And they'll freak out less if you keep their heads underwater when lipping it. See you OTW.

Looks like a great time had by all. Is that a dead Sturgeon on the right side of the boat launch in the beginning of the video? Very nice Stripers.

Excellent! Where was that launch? Ron

It was sturgeon carcass. Looked like someone filleted his dino and left the carcass.

Excellent video. That's some good stuff. It took me 5 years to land my first sturgeon so getting sounded is a common occurrence...at least for me. Good go at it.

Nice video moo. It was a pleasure fishing with you!
-
That's a nice chunk you got there.

@ 7:52 looks like a Striper came up to surface right next to you while you were reeling one in.

You mean the striper on my stringer?
