Hey, if anyone has those racks that fit a '96 - '99 RAV4 I'd like to buy them. They are the kind that attach into the 4 built-into-the-roof attachment points, then go across the roof. There aren't any rails. You can PM me if you have some.

See the attached photo.
Thanks! Warren

If you're looking for the factory luggage racks/crossbars (the Toyota ones; not Yakima or Thule or another aftermarket company), I would suggest calling some of the local auto wreckers to see if they have a RAV4 in stock. Because you can probably score them for cheap and they're easy to remove/install. I just did a google search for auto wrecker in the east bay and there appears to be a bunch of em.

Hi CenCoast, I appreciate the reply. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find these, including the little connectors to go to the attachment points built into the roof. I've now had two shipped to me. One came without the attahcment clips, so it was useless and I had to send it back. The other came from a later year model and literally wouldn't fit. I am on the wait list of a big salvage yard up in Rancho Cordova and have scanned the internet.
Thought someone here might be able to help in the meantime.
Thanks,
Warren
