Josh - I read an article (don't remember the specific magazine) about a guy who now makes a living building back-yard ponds that you can swim in  :smt007 It's basically a swimming pool filled with plants, fish, turtles, log jams, gravel bottom....ect. How cool would that be  :smt045! Jump in the pool with your speedos and feed your fish while you practice your breath holds  :smt002

That could be fun, but I think it'd be hard to maintain and especially to show off.  I'd rather have a multi hundred gallon tank indoors that folks could see and could keep neater fish than koi in.
