Cracked mirage bolt moldings on 2009 Hobie Adventure

My Hobie Adventure started taking on about a cup of water per hour, and I have isolated it to the cams that latch the Mirage Drive in place. I could probably stop the leak by removing the bolts and reinstalling them with a bunch of marine goop, but is the crack just going to keep getting bigger? Any tips on repairing this?

Thank you, NowhereMan. That thread discusses seat peg and hatch bungee cracks but I guess the recommended fix would be the same if I can find some type of sleeve that fits around the bolt moldings for the Mirage Drive.

It won't cover the whole crack but maybe a hose clamp to give it support and then goop the shit out of it?

Looks similar to classic issue for which Hobie should have issued a recall but never did.  Back in the early OO's hobies developed a crack in the anterior drivewell wall.  They sent out a stiff plastic patch with epoxy as reinforcement, with application instructions.  That drivewell area has a lot of undercuts and intricate molding = a LOT of stress on the molded plastic.  Call Hobie or an authorized dealer, axe for warranty consideration

Thanks for all the help, everyone. I contacted CCK Oakland and they filed a warranty claim with Hobie for me. Unfortunately Hobie declined it because of the age of the boat.

I squished some goop into the crack with my finger as a temporary fix,  and happily I have a dry boat again for the moment. I should work on a permanent fix, but I'd rather chase salmon right now.

Brandon and Greg were the guys who helped me from CCK. They said they could repair it, but I'm in no hurry to schlep my boat to and from Oakland, especially now that it's not leaking. I also enjoy trying to fix things myself. I'll try to post here as the saga continues.
