Well...I got fogged in yesterday off Elk and this machineis now my best friend.  Navigating off of the base map was totally doable, and while I probably could have groped my way in yesterday with out it, its only because I go there alot.  In less familiar water I would have been cooked.  Matrix 67 or otherwise, GPS is now a mandatory thing for me...yeah for technology!

FF also works exellent...this is a good, albiet expensive unit.

The unit sounds great, but ouch on the price.   My old scupper pro would be an accessory to the ff if you went by the value of each.  If it gets you in safely though, its worth the money.
