Kayak Rack?

I will build a rolling rack for anyone interested. Can accomodate up to 4 kayaks. Starting price finished and painted around 4 bills though. Steel is the big cost and wheels. Metal alone is around 120-140 bucks. About 5-6 hours I think now Ive built one

I used:
3qty 4x4 8ft board
1qty 2x4 8ft board
1qty 4x4 plywood
4qty casters
2qty 9" lag bolts with washers

The uprights are 5ft and arms are 3ft.
Everything is notched and glued.
The bottom is gusseted with the plywood and lag bolt through the bottom.

Make the bottom first (an an I shape) by notching the legs and cross support so they sit flush (kind of like a dovetail)
Notch the uprights to hold the upper arms.
Drill a big enough hole through everything and put the gussets on.

Craig's racks are bad ass. I wanted one but I have a small garage and couldn't fit one and both of the trucks in there. 

I built my from strut and bolted it to the fence works great!

i hung mine from the fence...and my fence fell down. Crappy texas construction.

Might work well with a basic frame on wheels
