Saludos!

I've been doing a bit of research on some of these DIY spreader bars (as I don't have the $$$ to shuck out). I also notice that some people don't talk about them outside of certain circles... Am I treading in dangerous territory here or do people here just not use them? I'm talking "fishing spreader bars" not "Spreader" spreader bars <wink, wink>.

There are some Titanium Bars for sale here and there for fairly reasonable prices. I'm looking to target Columbia River and Puget Sound Salmon up here in the NW. Some of the Tuna Spreader Bars (yeah, I know, I said not THOSE spreader bars) have hoochies that look like they could easily be swapped out for something more salmon friendly.

Anywho, let me know what you think of if you've used these (in the fishing sense - not in your demented fantasies - send a PM for those) or if you have any ideas as to what's worked for you.

Thanks for your help.

I haven't seen a whole lot of people using them for salmon down here but a guy in one of my other clubs has been using Fred Archer bars with success further north.  I think the hoochies are rigged as teasers and the chase bait is a croc or larger dead bait.

I'd try em but they're pricey.
