Or,  rent one of their electic motor skiffs for a stable judge platform...or if anyone has a skiff like that?

I have a 8' pram with a trolling motor I can bring.
Maybe we could have 2 divisions that way make everyone happy Bass and trout.
Or just length trout are much longer per lb. I would be happy to judge.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

Mick- Pram sounds great!  We'll have to get special uniforms for you and Bill, maybe Cat in the Hat costumes, or a couple ZZ Top beards.

I'm going to relay all ideas to mark, it's ultimately up to him, but sounds like evough perople are interested enough to make it a go.

I have a square stern canoe (I can never remember what they're called) with an electric motor, that Bill can borrow I think he needs to learn some love for canoes. :smt005 :smt005 :smt003
Why Do I paddle a kayak instead of a float tube or a pontoon boat? I like seeing where I'm going not where I've been!
Paddle safe and wrap'em tight.

Or maybe the Imperial Storm Trooper white plastic uniform "these are not the trout we want....."

I talked to Scot Lang the head ranger at Loch Lomond today.  He feels it's all fine, as long as we pay our 4$ entrance fee, we can do what we want.  (think theremight be an xtra $2 launch fee).

anyway, DFG has already planted at the lake this year, though it does not open till march 1st.  they planted Shasta variety raibows, avg 14" up to 18", according to Scot, who wathced them dump out the chute.  Might be some good action there 1st week of March....anyone else up for some mid-week fishing, 1st week of march?

I am TOTALLY down for this idea.

Two things.  Weigh boats would be great.  2 would work, 3 would be better.  Radio or flag down the weigh boat.

I would strongly advocate 2 divisions (trout, bass).

I can teach people how to make a very simple and cheap keep bag for LMB made from mesh and a cheap duffle bag.

alternatively you can just use a laundry mesh bag that you can get for like 2 bucks at wally world.

This is an awesome bass lake (for size) with great challenge to catch them as it is crystal clear and the bass population is not spectacularly huge.

Count me in.

I agree with Mo on the two divions, one for bass one for trout. you can enter one or you can enter both. If we have the boats , when you catch a fish ,it's just a matter of getting it measure and weighed or we could keep it simple and just weigh them.
