Mel,

Glad to know you came out of such a terrifying experience unscathed.  Not sure if you are going to let your asawa know about it.  She might not let you go out anymore.  Take care and you are welcome to join me in the PB while that beast is in that neighborhood.

So glad no serious injuries occurred. I can't imagine how scary that would be. Would like to hear the full story.

Add me to the list of those glad there were no physical injuries.  I was out there yesterday and it seemed perfectly normal, except for the huge amount of squid and ghosts. That could have been me.  I think I heard of a shark siting this year off of Marina, where there was an attack a couple of years ago.
I'm getting interested in Shark Shield.  I can avoid Marina and Bean Hollow, but the landlord's starting to buy up all the properties on the Fish Monopoly board!

The sharks have always been out there - we all know this. We NCKA'ers are simply growing in numbers and we will have more incidents in the future. So far (thank God) 4 of our brothers have dodged the bullet. Practice safe kayakfishing = use the buddy system  :smt045

I was predicting that Davenport was gonna be the next site of an attack.
