I went online for hotel reservations, is the lodge really booked? I am still on the fence, but wanted to look into it more.

Yes, very possible, they only have 40 rooms, expect several people have reserved the rooms before they actually registered.

I am waiting to hear if they will give better then 15% discount on houseboats for tournament.  If 8 people kick in on houseboat better price then lodge and you could come up and pre-fish, Thursday, Friday.  :smt001

When I searched online it looks like nothing is available, including houseboats.

OK, I read right over the part about online. Please call them, you can't get tournament rates on-line anyway.

Use it like the islander? Lots of kayaks fit on a houseboat!

If you are considering houseboat rental, let reservations know you are with the Shasta Bass Kayak Classic they will give you 25% off.

Lodge is 10% off. Have to call for discount, can't book online. http://www.bridgebayhouseboats.com/

Just called and they have 5 King bed rooms available and 8 double bed rooms available.

Just trying to find out if my fishing buddy is going to make it then I'll be booking a room. Tournament rate on rooms is $69 a night.

Update -

40 anglers registered, a few still have payment pending, to see those who have paid in full view the leaderboard.

http://ianglertournament.com/tournament/leaderboard/1473?day=03%2F25%2F2017&dayEnd=03%2F26%2F2017

Headwaters Adventure is supplying burger/hot dogs and drinks during the Captains Meeting Friday evening.

Bridge Bay Resort is just about full, maybe one or two rooms left at lodge. (530) 275-3021

Fawndale Resort off I-5, one mile south of Bridge Bay, they have tenting ($18-$21), cabins ($63-$99) and RV parking ($30)

Lake Shasta is clearing up, last couple storms, snow level has been lower so less rain, and much of the rain has stayed south.

For more info and registration you can visit our web site or FB page

http://www.shastabasskayakclassic.com/

We also have a closed FB group, once you register we will add you and we are running a "mock" tournament to practice logging catches from Feb 25 - March 6 which you are welcome to join once registered.

Any questions call me 410-310-1586 or email tournament@headwatersadventure.com

Thanks,
Bryan

Fished the lake yesterday with James Pratt, water temp 51, color BROWN.  We caught fish.  All 14 to 15 inches.  All. very pale. Didn't see any other Yaks,  Three or four Boats.  Caught all fish on hooks!
