Has anyone fished San Justo reservoir? I am going there tomorrow in the afternoon with Jim and our kids. We are mainly going kid fishing, but I would like to try for some trout or bass while we are paddling around.  Any info on the location, or techniques for trolling for trout would be appreciated.

mooch seems to do real well trolling a small deep diving crankbait 50 feet behind his kayak, he keeps it right at the bottom.

I have had luck this year with a threaded half nitecrawler 6" behind an ultralight dodger (seps sidekick), 40-80 feet back.

leader should be 4lb or less I think.

J thanks for the advice, I looked at your last post and ended up getting a Sep's mini trolling rig it worked great and the kid had a blast catching the trout.  It was hard finding the right depth in the afternoon winds, but when we got it down there we hooked up.
