How is the launch at Timber cove? At the moment I only have my hobie Lanai (9ft) since I am waitng on my new Cobra Navigator to arrive. Would love to get some time on the water.

How is the launch at Timber cove? At the moment I only have my hobie Lanai (9ft) since I am waitng on my new Cobra Navigator to arrive. Would love to get some time on the water.

Very easy launch from the beach.  Not sure how busy it's on weekends, but on weekdays you can park right on the beach and it's about 100' from the water.  See pictures below:

I'm sure HobieDave will bring something for Salmon trolling.  I think he usually uses Anchovies.  I have an RSK but have never used it or trolled for Salmon but Dave was going to give me some pointers so I could try it this time.  I also still need a legal Ling.
If Sonny can't make it and he's doubtful due to a schedule conflict, his spot on Dave's trailer might be available.  You may want to contact him.  We're leaving from Vallejo at 6:00 with the trailer.
