Congrat's to the two NCKA'ers who competed in the KBF National Championships in Kentucky last weekend. Matthew Brannon
came in 26th place out of 359 entrants and Mike Lavoie came in 103rd place. They were the entire representation from the state
of California.

A little late on the addition as I hadn't seen this till today.  My wife also fished the event as a qualified National Championship angler and NCKA member.  It was her first live tournament and she managed to come in at 149th place.  She managed to put up a limit on both days and her day two limit was pretty impressive especially considering the cold from the day before and post frontal conditions that we were faced with during the two days of competition.  She toughed it out like a champ and is now hooked.  She can't wait to get back again next year!

A big congratulation to Mrs. Ring King on her showing!!
