and the challenge would continue....
The  big winner.........  Sean and MVP for efforts on behalf of the sport!
 Steve
I found this gang from Joel....Joel thank you!
This was my first outing with the NCKA and yet I have been educated and comforted by you all on line for over a year now.
Often I have fished alone and on the distant edge of visability with some of you guys...and yet, when I saw one of you I always felt at ease.
I finally joined in at Bean Hollow and hope to continue and enjoy the safety and comraderie for years to come.
I will register for the AOTY this year and JOIN IN. [ and in a few months I hope to earn the right to do a little smack talking]
Sincerely, Steve

Hopefully, they will still throw us a few bones this year....    Everyone is crying " Poverty :smt100  "

Just for the record, my relationship with West Marine is to just get swag and prizes.

The only thing I get out of it is an investment of my time and the satisfaction of helping out NCKA

So true!

It was just like every other NCKA event...  tons of laughs, too much food, and I learn something new every time.

Special props to all the '08 AOTY winners, and super-duper props to those Leepin boys... unbelievable fish, but to do it as a father-son team deserves a special award!

Thanks to Craig for the anchor, and Russ for the lure, Hojoman for the charger, and (sorry, I'm drawing a blank on your name) for the KILLER dressed circle hooks for my knife jigs.

This post focuses on a future NCKA lurker and, hopefully, member: Katelynn, daughter of Michael (Dilbeck). She's a cutie, and she didn't freak out when she saw me.
