Congrats Scott, it does nt matter how big the fish is, it just matters that it was the biggest that day 

It would have been more satisfying to win my first tournament with a bigger fish

Brother, give yourself more credit - after all, the Loch (IMO) is not really known to harbor giant trout. The fact that your system got you the biggest trout of the day proves only one thing = IT WORKED and you were rewarded with a kayak of your choice  

Besides, I heard from credible sources that you're a "Lake Chabot trout killer"   To earn a title like that means you ARE a certified Trout Slayer
