Pretty shure that’s a felony...

What if all the beer he provided was free and we just had a recommended "entrance" fee or something?

I will end up getting a kayak, and many of us will end up fishing together at some point.  So,  consider this a soft invite for some time in the future.  My house for pints.

The lingo around here can be confusing at first.  We have a lot of acronyms and code words.  For example, you in the quote above misspelled-

"Open tap at GS XIII next to SHULAND see you all in May".

Hang around for a bit and you'll get the hang of it.

So sweet!
I really miss brewing.
When I sell my house/ buy another with more space, I’ll be all over that setup. 20 gal makes so much more sense.

20 gallons is where it is at.  I mostly brewed 10 gallon batches, but when I was going to throw a party, I would brew up 20s.  Having the 12.5 gallon stainless conicals is a dream.  You can brew up 20 and then use different yeasts and or different dry hop schedules, or temperatures.  Pretty awesome stuff.

A NCKA brew party would be awesome.  Sure would be a great way to get to know a lot of you I am sure.  Sadly,  taking money for alcohol is a big no no.  The tax man does not look at that in a kind light.  Jail time happens.  I am not a big man, and do not want to go to jail.  I think at some point, my kids will get a bit older and I will likely get myself a 5 gallon rig again.  I do love the process, and it is fun to have friends over to drink beer that I made.  I am pretty confident that I am not going anywhere soon.  I will end up getting a kayak, and many of us will end up fishing together at some point.  So,  consider this a soft invite for some time in the future.  My house for pints.

Monterey Bay Kayak is starting to sell off their used kayaks. They have some that could be modified for much cheaper than a fully set up yak... Ask for Adam and tell him you're from NCKA.

The ABC is a little picky and it's not something to discuss in an open forum.  The fees, money exchanging hands, quid pro quo is the problem.  It's not that different than selling sport caught fish except there are more enforcement resources and the penalties are steeper.

This isn't the free candy van.  Move along.

That setup sure looks cool.  If I actually drank enough, I'd be all over this.   :smt005

Quit interfering with my grand plans of getting CdM in the free candy van.  Sheesh, I had it set up too perfectly, someone had to come along and blow it for me.

I didn't have near this kick ass of a setup, but I sold all of my brew gear for kayak/fishing gear earlier this year. It was a good call. :)

Wow!  Thanks for the offer!  I really appreciate it.   If it takes me too long to get my own I might take you up on this!
