A few of you know that I got burgled a couple months ago.  probably by this sheetrock guy that was doing work at my house.

a bunch of rods and reels and some tools.

Guess what?  Blowing the deck for T-Day and something caught my eye under the upper deck.  Holy Shit it's my rods two, three no ALL OF THEM!!!

Tool carrying cases were also under there but the tools were gone.

Don't care.  Getting these rods back after thinking they were gone forever is just amazing!!

10 rods, four reels.  Some sentimental favorites, a couple very expensive setups.

I am a happy NCKA guy today!!!

That is great news. Glad you found them while they are still in good condition too!

You should call the sheet rock guy and apologize.  Glad you remembered where you put them for safe keeping.

Well,  I will freely admit to periods of "reduced conciousness" lately.

For clarification.. ( a couple members have asked me privately "why I put my rods under the deck")

I didn't.

They were stolen along with some tools from my garage.  Happily, I found the rods two months later, under the deck.  tools are gonzo.

Apparently the scumbag thief stashed the rods for later pickup and never came back for them.  The tools apparently were easier to hide and abscond with at the time...

haha.  Believe me, I asked.  5K deductible and likely rate hike.  the total even with tools didn't make the deductible, or just barely.

The tools are in the attic...........that was the reminder string on the left hand finger  :smt044 :smt044

Just Rats in the attic.  I have a regular trapline up there.  Spiders and possums under the deck. I might go check all the bushes though, for tools.
