First off i am pretty new to kayak fishing, but have fished all of my life from shore and boat.  Kayaking is by far the most fun i have had for a while.  Back to the topic at hand.

I have demoed, well rented the tarpon 14, a Hobie mirage drive, the XL tandem.  My problem was the lack of cash, and the desire of the girlfriend to paddle along.  I really enjoyed the Hobie system, but way too expensive, the tarpon was fine, and very customizable.

I chose the magic because it really paddles well as a single, and alright as a double, heads and shoulders above the XL.  Tracks better, and glides better, much more room for storage, much more customizable, my crate fits perfectly when configured for two, and am working on adding swivel mount holders.  I have four rod holders and a gaff/net holder mounted on the crate, but would like to mount a swivel setup but it seems the native gunnel's are too skinny, need advice.

Real impressed with the kayak, seating is unbelievable, and would choose this brand based on this fact, too bad the manta ray models don't come with the comfy seats.

So does anyone out the own one, and if so how did you rig it?
