Well I have been looking for another yak.  I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Native Manta 12.  I really like the style and construction.  I went to SONOMA OUTFITTERS in Santa Rosa Ca.  Jay, the owner was very nice and knowledgeable about all of his Kayaks.  They prices are also very fair.  He offered to take any of his yaks, to include the new pedal yak by native watercraft out to demo.  He even offered to bring them out at the next kayaking event to demo some boats.   I will post more about the new toy once I can play with it more.

KB

Ps Sonoma Outfitters also has a web site....

So KB you are a canoe guy now? :smt003

Those actually look like a great lake boat. With that "Barca-lounger" seat and all that room for beer you will probably have problems staying awake. :smt005

very exciting! cant wait to test it out. I was headed in the native direction too until WS recrafted the Tarpons. looks like there is going to be a yak off.
no naked kayak picture before you tear into the pimpin?

I thought WS also, but I wanted a Lifetime warranty? Plus the armada of plastic on the water needed a little diversity.  You need to sit in this yak,  HYDROPONIC SPIDER.  It feels nicey nicey.

Super nice! You'll have to call me tonight when you get home and I'll stop by and see it.

Did you end up with the pink one?

BTW, I had originally bought a Liquid Logic Manta Ray, and when it developed some cracks it was replaced under waranty by Native...  Appears to be the exact same mold, but the seat and footpegs are improved over the original design.  THe hull is also much more rigid.
