As we move into 2013, I have a list of things I'm thinking about working on regarding site features, updates, modification.

I'd like to ask if there is anything you'd like to see done.  I can't promise it can/will all get done, but we can at least talk about it.

Fire away!

I'd personally like to see what's on your list, and maybe go from there?   :smt003  Fixing Youttube Links would be cool though  :smt004

It would be cool to be able to "tag" posts (e.g. "dungeness"/"crab"/"crabbing" ).

OK.  So I just added that functionality.  When you post, there is not a line for "Tags".  And there is now a menu item called Tags where you can see what's been added.  For instance, I tagged this post with "tags".

Of course, any tagging system is only as good as the people using it.  If it doesn't get used, it's not that useful.

Also note that I'm not so keen on the menu for this one.  The output doesn't appear sortable, searchable, or prioritized in any way.  Too many tags, and you'll just get overwhelmed with the output results.

I'll look around for a better option.

I would like a link like another Kayak fishing site. It has a spot or link to new posts since your last visit. It would be on the Hello page when entering the site by the avatar.

It's already there.  Perhaps you "hid" it.  Do you see a V shape in the upper right hand corner.  Click that.

That's what I have KayakFishingMagazine.net for.  We should be adding more of this stuff to that site over the course of the year.

Most of of the stuff I have planned is under the hood.  Move to a new server.  Update the Content Management System.

Would like to add a more mobile friendly interface instead of Tapatalk.  Tapatalk is not admin friendly.   :smt011

I'd like to bring Chat back if they ever fix that software or if I can find a viable alternative.

And maybe overhaul to the template instead of using the default SMF one, personalize NCKA a bit.

Like or Dislike? Don't always need to reply with words to agree or disagree with particular discussion points of view.

Tagging people in photos. Like how you do on Facebook. So I can match names to faces.

Clean out the inactive users.

Raise the required number of posts to view members only stuff.

May be a way that notifies you of new pm's ... Maybe they could pop-up if you are online.

Live chat rooms?

Direct, online store?
