Hey guys,

We just bought a 2017 Subaru Outback. The factory racks are fairly wimpy, and I'm not getting any younger. Any suggestions for a roof rack that can later on take something like a Hullivator?
Thanks in advance,

Dan

You can buy generic, but if you want the Hullavator, you need to get the Thule square bar (trust me on this).  I have the Hullavator, but since I bought the Thule Outrigger to load a less used used kayak on the other side, I haven't used my Hullavator.  Much easier using the Outrigger (and save the money).  BTW, I do take off the Hullavator if I don't use them.

I have a 4-door sedan.

Thanks, yakyakyak. Coming from another Raptor guy that really helps, not to mention saving about a bucketful of money!
