So... Took out my 4.7 this morning for maiden voyage and took on a gallon of water. The Rudder cable also snapped. Rudder is easy fix but I have a hole on the cockpit side of the transducer scupper. Since there isn't a center hatch it isnt easily accessable from the inside for plastic weld. ideas for an easy  fix? small pinhole size hole.

If it isn't rigged, I'd take it back to the dealer.

Cajun, contact dealer - don't settle for less than what you paid for.  There are some prowler owners with a similar problems.

My predator is perfect but like the ultra for ocean use and wanted to use if for salmon in the next couple weeks. thinking of just marine gooping the crap out of it!

That's an easy fix from the outside Greg. If is a NZ boat they use a somewhat different poly. That's what I noticed anyway when I had the 4.3 If its a Maine boat I have welding rod. A gallon is a lot. did you measure the water?

Was paddling flat water for a couple hours just practicing strokes and bracing so nothing but my safety gear. wasnt weighted down and had drained before hitting the water. the hole would have a constant stream going in. probably between 1/2 and a gallon didnt measure. its a 2014 us made.post pic in a minute

It's small enough you could melt a Hefty black garbage and seal the hole.
Light a piece of the bag and let it drip onto the hole. Works in a pinch.

that is BRILLIANT!

PS Team Boat?  I think all the more reason to  trade it for an unblemished item.  (Even after it's fixed)

And, I am speaking as a member of the same team.
