Linda Mar trip cancelled - going to the Alameda Rockwall

In light of Jeff's scouting trip, Chuck, Bill and I have decided to try for halibut at the Alameda Rockwall.  Sorry for the change of venue.

   Getting to the Rockwall can be somewhat of a chore. If traveling north on I880, take the Broadway exit, and head east one block to 7th. Turn right two blocks to Webster St. Then follow Webster St. through the tunnel to Central Ave.. Turn right on Central Ave., and look for an unmarked entrance between two fences just past Lincoln St. Its located right next to Encinal High School.

    If heading south on I880, take the Webster St. exit to the island. Proceed through the tunnel to Central Ave.. Turn right at Central Ave., and look for an unmarked entrance between two fences just past Lincoln  St., and the Encinal High School.

I plan to be at launch ramp around 5:30am.
I'll try to make bait using my thrownet.

I just talked to InsaneDuane and he was already planning to hit the Rockwall too.  He and I are meeting around 4am    at one of our bait hotspots to try to make bait with our thrownets.  If all goes well, we should have enough live bait for anyone that shows up tomorrow.

I'm itching to get out anywhere.... If you guys are hitting the rockwall. I'll hit it too. Hey Chuck... I hope you catch enough bait to fill my bucket too.
