Many folks encounter a warped rudder that has a persistent drift to one side that they constantly fight while trying to track straight. You also gain some authority going metal as it doesn't flex like the thin plastic one.
I’m getting a new 2021 Hobie Outback next week and saw a metal aftermarket rudder on the display model. 3
General Talk / Re: Sai Rudder for new outback« on: November 22, 2020, 04:54:08 PM »
Hi fellas, thanks for the interest in the products. I am the owner of Snipe Air Industries. I'm a little back logged at the moment with chores but I am happy to look into solutions for you guys. This was the first group that got me into the kayak scene. I've been trying to get out to the events and meet all you but you know... Covid. I did place in the top three at crab fest the last two years, maybe we met there? Anyways, I just wanted you guys to know SAI is one of you and I look forward to seeing you on the water!
Oh, I am super excited about this new mount for the Ketch Kryptonite boards. You can mount it almost anywhere. https://www.snipeairindustries.com/product-page/sai-board-mount 4
General Fishing Tips / Re: Which one would you go with?« on: October 15, 2020, 11:16:46 AM »
Not really discontinued, more like revamped! It is now lighter, works with flush mount bases and regular 241 base, lower profile and less prone to catching your line with the knobs replaced with recessed bolts, and now all hardware is stainless. The new ones start shipping soon!

That's just the deposit. Last year it was the same way, $49 deposit then charged per person once we got there.
Edit- I believe it's per kayaker so wives and kids are not charged. FYI. 15

Well $30 is a lot better. It's still $120 a night for an RV site with 4 dudes which is more than I have ever paid anywhere but it's a great event and I will be there.
