Any updates?
I'd fathom a guess the battery died on the trolling motor and the wind was too much to paddle against so he hoofed it back to his vehicle with paddle in hand.
At least that's what I'm hoping.

Without knowing any information at all my best 2 guesses are Dan916 was trying to sell it on Craigslist and left it there, or Huli Cat left HMB and has decided to wreak havoc on Delta kayakers  :smt044

All kidding aside, I hope that nothing horrible happened to the owner of this kayak.

Glad that the owner is safe. Kinda curious about what the detailed explanation is though.

I’m not sure if it is related, but in the local paper a Sea scout boat picked up a person hanging on to his yak overnight and turned him over to the USCG. Supposedly he was on an inflatable yak??  Located close to Pittsburg.

Hmmm...sounds like Huli Cat is on the loose. :smt044  Beware all bay and delta kayakers.
