« on: August 24, 2017, 03:59:34 PM »
Well what your guys opion on these it is mostly good reviews but i trust you guys opinions more. I have a seat back and bottom now and not sure on a high quality and comfortable ones in that department that fit mine.  From what ive researched and i believe this one fits mine. But not sure if it will put me higher in the yak and how it will affect my paddling.

Got to the lake about 5 set up camp in group 6 and decided to lug the yak down the hill to go for a troll to back the lake for trout with jsr-5 firetiger and sr-7 on the other. Was a quick troll to with 2 missed take downs 2 lost at boat trying to get hooks out without getting in finger one being a nice 1 pounder ish and the second would of been my personal best small mouth upper 4's big old football smalie to bad i didnt get a pic. And then the one i did get in the boat was about the size of a jsr 5 lol.   Oh well mabey in the morning the trout will want to play.  Didnt quite make to the back almost but sun was down so i headed back.  Hopefully better pics tomorrow.  Night peeps.

« on: August 02, 2017, 05:24:33 PM »
Ok starting a knew thread here  i think i got it figured out but i would like a little help from the pro paddlers :) i googled and came up with this but i cant find a kayak height info mine is 30" wide and about 12" high. Im 5'11" and real wide shoulder im a big boy  and this is what i got with the chart info.  So im thinking a 240cm camano werner should be a good choice dont want to fork out that kind of money if im making the wrong choice.  Any info will be helpful.

Hello everyone.  Im newbie to the kayak world.  But i feel in love like most on the first paddle.  Mr Matt been trying to get me to get one for a few years now. Yep im totally glad i did it is so peaceful and fun.  I live in the foothills above sac right out of Placerville i fish lakes rivers streams ponds and delta.   I love trout ,salmon, steelhead , bass, sturgeon , striper and anything with fins.  I may be out at rollins for crapie or smalies tomorrow or sly park for smalies if you see me say hello to a nee fellow yaker.  Im pretty easy to see im big boy on little yak.   Thanks for having me and hope to share some yak stories through the years.
