Sweet rig! As a through and through Landcruiser guy, I'll bend a bit and say that's a great Jeep and a great deal for someone. ARB rear alone is $1500...good luck with the sale, someone is gonna get a nice rig!

For years it was going to $10K but I think what I'm asking now is a fair starting point. I never intended to sell it, but life smacked me right upside my puss, wife, house, (mortgage) age. so never intending to sell it, I didn't worry about what happened to it. I only worried about the running gear and engine, she has a few dents & dings, interior is a little rough. She's a trail rig, not a "Grocery getter"

I hear ya. Definitely trail ready for the lucky one who gets it.
I'm in a similar situation w/ My 80 Series. I want to hold on the the thing forever, but the impracticalities are starting to mount...not least of which was a move from Cali to Arkansas, trading the Sierras for the Ozarks. I'll never get my money back on the mods, so looks like I will have to keep it forever!
Again, best of luck with the sale. Great rig.

She's gone as of 28th Tuesday. so sad to her parking spot empty. Not without issues though, Las time I had it up and out from yard, the ground was dry and I had maximum traction. Not so much Tuesday, after the rains, my little hill out of my yard was slick! ARB locker maybe helped a little , but not enough. ended up sliding back down a little berm and right taillight housing smack into my storage shed, smashing it flat! (Buyer was present at time DOH.....) He got to seen the winch work! He actually ran cable up to a small oak, (I have a length of chain with a chain grabber hook at end) and I was able to pull the jeep up and over the small berm. After that was no issue getting up on the road.
In that very short time winching my jeep up (Again) the act of winching brought back many memories of the multiple trips I've had in her.
New owner flat towed her back home.
I have a sense of relief and sadness. Relief in the fact I don't have to worry about working it her any longer, Freed up room in my shed and yard. Sadness in that I won't (for the near decade or three) be wheeling any longer. I really wanted my wife to see the Rubicon but that never happened.
As stated in original post, it was time to let her go.
